The HUBZone Program was enacted into law as part of the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997 as a jobs bill with the primary objectives of job creation and increased capital investment in distressed communities throughout rural and urban America. HUBZone is unlike any other Small Business Program in that the focus is on the development of a community rather than an individual.
Our goal is to provide Federal contracting opportunities to certified HUBZone small businesses with the opportunity to increase job opportunities and to stimulate economies with increased capital investments.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit
The work opportunity tax credit is a federal tax credit available to employers for hiring individuals from certain target groups who have consistently faced significant barriers to employment. This credit is available for wages paid to certain individuals who begin work on or before December 31, 2025.
